McDonnell-Douglas A-4Eand TA-4J Skyhawks{"Scooters"}of the US Navy Blue Angels precision aerobatic display team,1974-1985 show seasons. 6 standard single seat Skyhawks were the team,s main element,with Number 7,the 2-seater as a spare/backup,and also as a pilot proficiency trainer. the team was forced to replace their larger,louder and faster F-4J Phantom II,s with the smaller and more economical Skyhawk in 1974 due to rising fuel prices during the Energy Crunch or the early 1970s. this was also the first time in the team,s history they had ever operated a pure attack-bomber type aircraft,all previous types having been fleet fighters.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
