lots of them,JetBlue flies Airbus planes exclusively. as well as many other companies in the US,but i don,t think CO will ever have them again. the reason behind the Japanese is that Hasegawa Hobby Kits makes a superb series of airliner models, but they will only cut a mold for a plane if it is used by a Japanese airline company, for sale in their domestic market. silly policy,but........! i wish they would add a Boeing 757 to the series, but no Japanese airline ever bought/operated them.
do you think airbus planes are as safe as boeing planes with american pilots flying them? I'm curious as to exactly why airbus has had so many crashes and problems. pilot error or design flaw?
Airbus is better than they used to be in the beginning, but some planes do have "bugs" that sometimes show up later on,that didn,t get found during testing. Pilot Error is just something that will always be with us,unfortunately! what sort of models did you have in mind, military or commercial? a word of warning, this hobby isn,t as inexpensive as it used to be!
any plane models you recommend for beginners?
